नेशनल कॉन्फ्रेंस में बड़ी बगावत: रूहुल्ला ने छोड़ी पार्टी, उमर के बाद फारूक अब्दुल्ला पर भी साधा निशाना
श्रीनगर सांसद आगा सैयद रूहुल्ला मेहदी ने नेशनल कॉन्फ्रेंस और लोकसभा सदस्यता से इस्तीफा देकर पार्टी से नाता तोड़ लिया। उन्होंने मुख्यमंत्री उमर अब्दुल्ला और फारूक अब्दुल्ला पर भी निशाना साधा।

Add as a preferredजम्मू-कश्मीर की राजनीति में बड़ा फेरबदल देखने को मिला है, जहां श्रीनगर से सांसद आगा सैयद रूहुल्ला मेहदी ने नेशनल कॉन्फ्रेंस की प्राथमिक सदस्यता और लोकसभा सदस्यता दोनों से इस्तीफा देकर पार्टी से किनारा कर लिया है। अपने इस कदम को उन्होंने 'आजादी का फैसला' करार दिया। इस्तीफे के बाद उन्होंने कहा कि कुर्सी गंवाने पर लोग अक्सर मायूस होते हैं, लेकिन वे सत्ता छोड़कर बेहद खुश हैं।
रूहुल्ला ने मुख्यमंत्री उमर अब्दुल्ला की कार्यशैली पर सीधा प्रहार करते हुए कहा कि जिस कुर्सी पर वे बैठे हैं, वह न सिर्फ उनके लिए बल्कि आवाम के लिए भी दुख का सबब बन चुकी है। उन्होंने तल्ख टिप्पणी करते हुए कहा कि उमर को अपनी टोपी और वकार दूसरों के कदमों में रखने की जरूरत नहीं थी। साथ ही उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि वे खुदा से दुआ करते हैं कि सत्ता के लिए उन्हें कभी इतनी लाचारी न देखनी पड़े कि अपनी टोपी ही फेंकनी पड़े। रूहुल्ला ने चुनौती भरे लहजे में कहा कि अगर असली इज्जत और स्वाभिमान देखना है तो बडगाम आकर देखा जाए।
मुख्यमंत्री को 'ना-अहल' यानी अक्षम करार देते हुए रूहुल्ला ने पार्टी सुप्रीमो डॉ. फारूक अब्दुल्ला को भी निशाने पर लिया। उन्होंने कहा कि डॉ. फारूक को अपने बेटे को कुरान की तालीम देनी चाहिए, जिन्होंने विधानसभा चुनावों के तुरंत बाद भारतीय जनता पार्टी के खौफ से अनुच्छेद 370 के स्टैंड पर यू-टर्न ले लिया। वहीं, रूहुल्ला मेहदी के इस अचानक लिए गए फैसले और गंभीर आरोपों पर जब डॉ. फारूक अब्दुल्ला से सवाल किया गया, तो उन्होंने सिर्फ इतना कहकर बात टाल दी कि वे इस पूरे मामले पर फिलहाल कुछ नहीं कह सकते।
