दिल्ली पुलिस ने कहा- जामिया हिंसा में बाहर वाले भी शामिल, कई मेट्रो स्टेशन बंद
नागरिकता संशोधन कानून 2019 (Citizen Amendment act 2019) के विरोध में रविवार को जामिया मिल्लिया इस्लामिया यूनिवर्सिटी के छात्रों द्वारा किए गए हिंसक प्रदर्शन के बाद सोमवार को कैंपस में शांति है। दिल्ली पुलिस मुख्यालय पर छात्रों का प्रदर्शन बीती रात उस वक्त खत्म हुआ जब हिरासत में लिए गए 50 छात्रों की रिहाई हो गई। हालांकि यहां अब भी कुछ छात्रों का शांतिपूर्ण प्रदर्शन जारी है। जबकि दिल्ली से नोएडा आने वाले कुछ रास्ते बंद हैं। वहीं एहतियात के तौर पर दिल्ली सरकार ने दक्षिण-पूर्वी दिल्ली के स्कूल सोमवार को बंद रखने का एलान किया गया है। पढ़ें दिन भर के अपडेट्स...

उन्होंने कहा कि हमने हमेशा अपने छात्रों को सही बात पर आवाज उठाने और गलत चीज के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन करने के लिए प्रेरित किया है। जहां तक लोकतांत्रिक अधिकारों की बात है, जामिया ने कभी इसका विरोध नहीं किया है। उनके आवाज उठाने का हम स्वागत करते हैं, जब तक वो शांतिपूर्ण और नियमों के दायरे में हो।

इस प्रदर्शन के दौरान करीब 30 पुलिसवाले घायल हुए हैं जबकि दो एसएचओ को फ्रैक्चर आ गया है। एक पुलिसवाला आईसीयू में है। हमने दो एफआईआर दर्ज की हैं। क्राइम ब्रांच इस हिंसा की हर तरह से जांच करेगी।
