कांग्रेस ने प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी द्वारा राष्ट्रीय कैडेट कोर (एनसीसी) के युवाओं को संबोधित किए जाने को लेकर निशाना साधते हुए कहा कि कैडेटों के सामने राजनीतिक बातें करना मोदी को शोभा नहीं देता और ऐसा कर उन्होंने चुनाव आचार संहिता का उल्लंघन किया है। वरिष्ठ नेता पृथ्वीराज चव्हाण ने चुनाव आयोग की निष्पक्षता पर सवाल खड़े करते हुए कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री के एनसीसी संबोधन मामले की चुनाव आयोग को जांच करनी चाहिए।
उन्होंने कहा कि दिल्ली में चुनाव चल रहा है और आचार संहिता लागू है। ऐसे में प्रधानमंत्री ने एनसीसी कैडेटों को संबोधित करते हुए जो बातें कही हैं उसके दो पहलू हैं। एक तो उन्होंने चुनाव आचार संहिता का उल्लंघन किया है। इस पर चुनाव आयोग जरूर जांच करे।
