मौके पर दमकल की कई गाड़ियां मौजूद हैं। अब तक किसी के घायल या हताहत होने की सूचना नहीं है।

झुग्गियों में रहने वाले गौरव ने बताया कि हमें नहीं पता कि आग कैसे लगी। कोई हताहत नहीं हुआ लेकिन हम पालतू बकरियों को नहीं बचा सके। वहां बहुत सारे झुग्गी-झोपड़ी वाले घर थे। एक पीड़ित महिला ने कहा कि मैं यहां झुग्गियों में रहती थी। हमारे पास जो कुछ भी था सब जल गया।

रानी गार्डन की झुग्गियों में रहने वाली एक अन्य महिला ने कहा कि लोग कह रहे हैं कि किसी ने बच्चों को गर्म रखने के लिए आग जलाई थी, जिसके कारण आग लग गई।
