Bharatiya Janata Yuba Morcha (BJYM), the youth wing of BJP, has launched a state-wide stir accusing Odisha government of neglecting education and health sectors and failing to provide employment to youths.

“Thousands of people, particularly from Ganjam district, migrate to other states to work as labourers as the Naveen Patnaik government has failed to create employment opportunities here,” said a youth leader of the party here today.

There is shortage of doctors in health centres and teachers in educational institutions, alleged former state president of BJYM Bibhuti Jena.

As part of their agitation, BJYM activists staged a demonstration here yesterday and submitted a memorandum to the sub-collector, demanding filling up of the vancant teacher and doctor posts.

BJYM''s state vice-president Jagannath Das said rallies would be organised in different parts of the state by month end.
