In view of the urgent need to strengthen medical infrastructure, Maharashtra Government has decided to set up a medical college in every district.
“Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan has cleared the proposal of setting up medical colleges in every district....the colleges will be set up in a phased manner,” Minister of State for Medical Education D P Sawant said here today.
