84 के सिख विरोधी दंगों में कांग्रेस की भूमिका पर किसी को संदेह नहीं था : अमित शाह

शाह ने ट्वीट कर आरोप लगाए कि 1984 के दंगा पीड़ितों ने न्याय की उम्मीद खो दी थी क्योंकि जिन लोगों ने अपराध किए उन्हें कांग्रेस नेतृत्व का राजनीतिक संरक्षण हासिल था। उन्होंने कहा कि दिल्ली उच्च न्यायालय द्वारा सज्जन कुमार को दोषी ठहराए जाने से एक बार फिर साबित हुआ है कि 1984 के अपराधी नहीं बच पाएंगे।

Victims of 1984 riots had lost all hope of justice because those responsible for crime against them enjoyed political patronage of Congress leadership. Delhi High Court's conviction of Sajjan Kumar has once again assured the victims that criminals of 1984 will not go scot free.

शाह ने कहा, ‘1984 के सिख विरोधी दंगे में कांग्रेस की भूमिका पर किसी को संदेह नहीं था। उनके नेताओं और कार्यकर्ताओं ने भड़काऊ नारे लगाए, महिलाओं से बलात्कार किया और पुरुषों की नृशंस हत्याएं कीं।’ 

No one ever had any doubts on Congress's role in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots. Their leaders and workers went on rampage raising provocative slogans, raping women and murdering men in cold blood. Yet no one was ever punished despite multiple commissions and several eyewitnesses.

भाजपा प्रमुख ने 2015 में एसआईटी का गठन करने के लिए प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी को धन्यवाद दिया जिसने तीन दशक से लंबित 1984 दंगों के कई मामलों की फिर से जांच की। उन्होंने कहा, ‘मैं अदालत का आभारी हूं जिसने फैसला दिया और दुखी परिवारों को राहत दी।’ 

I want to thank Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi for setting up an SIT in 2015, which initiated re-investigation into several cases of 1984, pending for over three decades. I am grateful to the Court, which has delivered its judgment, bringing relief to the traumatised families.
