बात करें मैच की तो भारतीय टीम जर्मनी के खिलाफ शुरुआत में 1-3 से पिछड़ चुकी थी लेकिन उसके बाद उसने जोरदार वापसी की और तीसरे क्वार्टर के खेल में एक के बाद एक चार किए और मैच को अपने नाम करने में सफल रही। भारतीय गोलकीपर पीआर श्रीजेश एक बार फिर से टीम की दीवार बने और जर्मनी के पैनल्टी कॉर्नर को फेल करते रहे।
