उच्चतम न्यायालय ने हाल ही में कहा कि उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार की प्रधान सचिव वीणा कुमारी के खिलाफ अवमानना नोटिस क्यों नहीं जारी किया जाना चाहिए। अदालत ने ऐसा राज्य में कथित तौर पर उपभोक्ता न्यायालयों के कामकाज के संबंध में अपने पहले के आदेशों का अनुपालन नहीं करने की वजह से कहा।
