राष्ट्रीय जांच एजेंसी (एनआईए) ने तमिलनाडु के 10 स्थानों पर छापेमारी की है। एनआईए की यह कार्रवाई इस साल आठ जनवरी को दर्ज किए गए एक मुकदमे से संबंधित है जिसमें आठ लोगों पर आईएसआईएस को समर्थन देने का आरोप लगाया गया था।
एनआईए ने मुथुपेट, केलाकरई, देवीपट्टिनम, ललपेट और सलेम में 10 लोगों के 10 ठिकानों पर तलाशी ली। एनआईए ने यह कार्रवाई एक मामले में की जिसमें इन लोगों पर ने उनके आतंकवादी संगठन के लिए हथियार खरीदने, सशस्त्र संघर्ष को विफल करने के लिए धन जुटाने और देश के खिलाफ कार्य करने के लिए आतंकियों को जेल से भगाने की साजिश रची।Tamil Nadu: NIA conducts raids at 10 places in the state in connection with a case filed on January 8 against eight people for allegedly supporting ISIS.

छापेमारी के दौरान एनआईए ने तीन लैपटॉप, तीन हार्ड डिस्क, 16 मोबाइल फोन, आठ सिम कार्ड, दो पेन ड्राइव, पांच मेमोरी कार्ड और एक कार्ड रीडर समेत दो चाकू और कई दस्तावेज बरामद किए हैं।
