If you miss a day or the defined number of times the activity was supposed to be done, you break the streak. If you break the streak in between, it will start from the beginning again.

If you uninstall the app, your AU Coins will remain active. You need to log into Amar Ujala app to use AU Coins. AU Coins remains active only until your account is deleted.

Can I lose access to AU Coins?

Yes. If you delete your account or your account is suspended due to some reason, you can lose access to AU Coins.

HOW TO OBTAIN AMAR UJALA COINS

AU COINS can be obtained and then redeemed by You by registering on the Times AU Coins website and establishing an account for the Site. The AU Coins can be obtained by You in the ‘Earn’ section of the Site, as per the details provided on the Site, or as amended from time to time. Amar Ujala Web Services Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to modify, revise or amend the number of AU Coins or to cease redemption on any AU Coins. Allow approximately three (3) business days after taking action/performing task for verification of eligibility and authenticity of AU Coins that have been obtained, to show up in Account.

ABOUT AU COINS

AU Coins cannot be sold, traded, transferred, assigned, combined or bartered. AU Coins can only be used by the registered individual who obtained them from Amar Ujala Web Services Pvt. Ltd. by performing the actions and steps set forth therein. AU Coins are (and remain at all times) the property of Amar Ujala Web Services Pvt. Ltd., with the registered Users being granted exclusive permission by Amar Ujala Web Services Pvt. Ltd. to use AU Coins obtained by them solely for use in the redemption area ("Redemption Area") as specified from time to time in strict accordance with these Terms & Conditions. AU Coins credited to a certain registered User's Account cannot be transferred to any other Account, combined or pooled with any AU Coins credited to any other Account, shared with any other Account, or used for any purpose other than in connection with the Account to which AU Coins were credited by Amar Ujala Web Services Pvt. Ltd.. AU Coins may only be used for purposes of redemption in accordance with these Terms & Conditions and may not be used for any other offer or purpose. Such other use may constitute fraud. Provided that registered individual has obtained the AU Coins after being confirmed by Amar Ujala Web Services Pvt. Ltd..

Expiry of AU Coins:

AU Coins earned for each activity will have a validity for 12 calendar months from date of earning. AU Coins would expire on the first day of the month succeeding the month in which they were earned e.g., if a user earns a total of 100 AU Coins in December 2023 (spread across different days of August), these AU Coins will all expire on 1st November 2023. On reaching the applicable expiration date, any remaining, unused AU Coins will be forfeited without any compensation to registered individual or liability to Amar Ujala Web Services Pvt. Ltd. The AU Coins algorithm will not be shared by Amar Ujala Web Services Pvt. Ltd. to the Registered User except the activities and AU Coins assigned for each activity.

USE OF AU Coins TO OBTAIN REWARDS

AU Coins can be redeemed by Users by availing discount vouchers and coupons for products / services offered by the Company’s merchant partners / brands which are listed in the Rewards section. Amar Ujala Web Services Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify the Rewards section by adding, removing items or changing the number of AU Coins required to obtain Reward(s) without any prior notice. You must have a sufficient number of AU Coins in your Account for the Reward(s) you wish to order. Once order is placed, the appropriate number of AU Coins will be deducted from Your account and once deducted, AU Coins CANNOT be reinstated in case of cancellation of the order or in any other case. BE CAREFUL IN ORDERING REWARDS, BECAUSE ONCE AN ORDER IS PLACED, IT CANNOT BE CHANGED, ALTERED, MODIFIED, RETRACTED OR CANCELLED BY YOU. Amar Ujala Web Services Pvt. Ltd. shall have the right to include/exclude or omit any site/merchant/brand from participating in the program.

ABOUT REWARDS

The AU Coins structure including the global status can be changed at any time by Amar Ujala Web Services Pvt. Ltd. All Rewards are subject to availability.

If a given Reward is unavailable for any reason, Your corresponding redeemed AU Coins shall be credited back to Your account. These AU Coins shall be valid as per the validity of the original AU Coins, i.e. 12 months from the date the AU Coins were first earned by You. You may then use AU Coins to obtain another Reward. Amar Ujala Web Services Pvt. Ltd. makes no warranty, representation or guarantee whatsoever regarding availability of Rewards redemption items, services or products. AU Coins once redeemed shall not be reverted in any case.

REDEMPTION OF COINS:

CASH REDEMPTION OF AU COINS CANNOT BE PERFORMED. AU Coins can only be redeemed against offers listed in the Redemption Area of the Site. In case of redemption of AU Coins against coupons/offers, You shall avail such coupon/offer on the website of the applicable brant/merchant. The brand/merchant shall be responsible for providing the services or delivering the goods and the same shall be as per the terms of the brand/merchant.

PRODUCTS/SERVICES ORDERED ON PARTNER WEBSITE

The products/ services ordered by You on our partner websites shall be governed by the terms and conditions and policies of our partner. In case of any issues pertaining to the products or services please get in touch with the partner on whose platform the order was placed. In case of any issue with redemption of any coupon availed on the Site, You may contact us.

ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS

Employees of Amar Ujala, its parent, affiliated and subsidiary companies and members of their immediate family are not eligible.

MISCELLANEOUS RESTRICTIONS/LIMITATIONS

While every reasonable effort will be made to maintain and accurately reflect Account activity (which may include but is not limited to number of AU Coins obtained and/or redeemed), Amar Ujala Web Services Pvt. Ltd. assumes no responsibility for delays or technological errors that may result in an inaccurate balance of AU Coins being displayed in an Account or elsewhere on website at any given time.

PROHIBITIVE ACTIVITIES

You should not abuse any of our Services in a manner that does not reflect normal or appropriate human usage, such as conducting excessive Activities in our Rewards Programs for the sole or primary purpose of receiving AU Coins, create and/or use multiple Accounts (i.e., only one Account is permitted per person); maintain or use any false identity or multiple identities, or otherwise fail to participate in our Services using your real identity and accurate contact, demographic and other information; Spam, abuse or gaming on the Amar Ujala Rewards Coins system by creating multiple ID’s or otherwise.
