मेगन मार्केल ब्रिटिश शाही घराने की अब तक की कई बहुओं से अलग हैं। जो बातें उन्हें दूसरी बहुओं से जुदा बनाती हैं वो ये हैं कि वो न सिर्फ अदाकारा हैं बल्कि अमेरिकी भी हैं। प्रिंस हैरी से शादी से पहले वो तलाकशुदा थीं। वह अमेरिकी-अफ्रीकी नस्ल की है। मेगन मार्केल हॉलीवुड स्टार हैं। उनका पूरा नाम राशेल मेगन मार्केल है। उन्होंने अमेरिकी टेलीविजन की दुनिया में लंबा वक्त बिताया है। मेगन को अमेरिकन टीवी सीरीज सूट्स में रेचल के किरदार से ज्यादा लोकप्रियता मिली।
