The air around her choked her lungs
When she found out as to how 
Confined she was
In her four walled world,
That seemed to close on upon her.
Day by day, hour by hour,
Her heart was that of a traveller,
It craved to see the world
From a different view.
She would see beautiful things,
Mountain tops, blue oceans,
Icey glaciers, deep green forests
With creatures that make sounds
That soothe the soul.
But she could only see
These things in her dreams.
How she wished those walls would break
And her golden chariot
Would come to rescue her. 
The day finally came
When someone left the cage open
And she ran for the gate
Like her life depended on it.
She finally rescued herself
From the walls that crushed her wings.
She smiled and breathed 
A breath of fresh air,
For now, her limit to explore
Was the line where the sky met the ocean.
