आईआईटीयन बाबा अभय सिंह हरियाणा के झज्जर के रहने वाले हैं। उनके पिता कर्ण सिंह एडवोकेट हैं। झज्जर बार एसोसिएशन के प्रधान भी रह चुके हैं। अभय ने आईआईटी बॉम्बे से एयरोस्पेस इंजीनियरिंग की है। इसके बाद कनाडा जाकर एरोप्लेन बनाने वाली कंपनी में काम किया। इसके बाद अचानक वह देश लौटे और कुछ समय बाद घर से गायब हो गए। महाकुंभ से जब उनकी वीडियो वायरल हुई तो परिवार को पता चला। हालांकि, अब वे इस बारे में ज्यादा बात नहीं करना चाहते।
IITian Baba Abhay Singh is a resident of Jhajjar, Haryana. His father Karan Singh is an advocate. He has also been the president of Jhajjar Bar Association.
