Founded by 58-year-old entrepreneur Vinay Pasricha, the platform leverages AI to automate every stage of the hiring process—from candidate sourcing and shortlisting to interviews and evaluations. This makes job hunting quick and efficient for both employers and candidates.
How the 60-Minute Job Model Works
Goodspace AI divides the hiring process into four distinct stages:
1. AI Finder: Quickly scans platforms like LinkedIn and a database of over a million profiles to identify eligible candidates.
2. AI Shortlister: Uses adaptive algorithms to match candidates’ skills with company requirements.
3. Multilingual AI Interviewer: Conducts human-like interviews in over 100 languages.
4. AI Evaluator: Performs data-driven evaluations to determine candidates’ suitability for the role.
The Beginning of an AI-Powered Job Platform
Vinay shared that the idea for Goodspace AI came to him in 2021 when he experienced the lengthy and inefficient process of hiring firsthand. During a recruitment drive for a campus manager in Mumbai, he reviewed over 300 profiles, shortlisted 60, and interviewed 30 candidates over four months—yet couldn’t find the right fit. This frustration led him to consider whether the hiring process could be made faster and more effective. The result was Goodspace AI, a platform designed to connect companies with the right candidates and vice versa in record time.
Vinay Pasricha’s Journey
Born into a military family, Vinay spent his childhood across various cities in India, including Deolali, Baramulla, Ludhiana, and Delhi. This upbringing instilled discipline and a deep appreciation for diverse cultures. With a natural inclination toward technology, Vinay pursued engineering from Punjab Engineering College and later earned a management degree from Harvard Business School.
