Challenge to lack of options for choosing captain
भारतीय टीम विश्व विजेता बनने के बाद से ही बुरे दौर से गुजर रही है। समय की मांग है कि टीम में बड़े बदलाव हों। जाहिर है बदलाव की यह प्रक्रिया चरणबद्घ तरीके से होगी लेकिन जब कप्‍तान बदलने की बात होती है तो उसके लिए बेहतर विकल्प बहुत जरूरी है। टीम इंडिया के विदेशों में लचर प्रदर्शन के बाद से ही कप्तान धोनी के बदलने की मांग होने लगी है। खुद धोनी ने भी टेस्ट कप्तानी छोड़ने की पेशकश कर दी है। उनका कहना है कि अगर बीसीसीआई को लगता है कि बेहतर विकल्प मौजूद है तो वह आकर खेल के लंबे प्रारूप की कप्तानी संभाल सकता है। लेकिन अगर टीम के मौजूदा खिलाड़ियों पर गौर करें तो कोई भी नाम इस पोस्ट के लिए सौ फीसदी सटीक नहीं मिल पाता है। आइए देखते हैं मौजूदा टीम में कितनी योग्यता है और कौन सबसे बड़ा दावेदार?
